I-9 documentation

In accordance with the Immigration Reform and Control Act, you’re required to present documents that establish your legal eligibility to work in the U.S.

For US citizens, examples of acceptable documents are: US passport, original Social Security card AND driver’s license, or original birth certificate AND driver’s license. Sorry, but we cannot accept copies and faxes.

For non-US citizens, examples of acceptable documents are: unexpired foreign passport with I-551 stamp or attached INS Form I-94 indicating unexpired employment authorization, alien registration receipt card (a.k.a., green card) with photograph (INS Form I-151 or I-551), or unexpired Employment Authorization Document card (a.k.a, work permit) (INS Form I-688A). You’re also required to obtain a US social security number within two weeks of employment.

E-Verify

E-Verify is an online system operated by the Department of Homeland Security with the Social Security Administration, which allows Vail Resorts Retail to electronically verify employment eligibility. Documents presented for the I-9 will be used to verify your employment eligibility. All newly hired employees, including seasonal rehires that have been terminated, will be submitted to E-Verify.
